ユナイテッド・アーバン投資法人（UUR）のスポンサーである丸紅が、第一生命ホールディングスと不動産事業を統合し、中間持株会社を7月に設立することを発表した。 丸紅と第一生命HDは、2024年6月に不動産事業における協業提携に向けて協議を開始することを発表しており、これに基づき不動産事業を統合することを決定。丸紅は子会社である丸紅都市開発を吸収分割し、丸紅都市開発は丸紅と第一生命HDが50％ずつ出資する中間持株会社となる（新たな社名は未定）。 これに伴いUURの資産運用会社の株式は全て中間持株会社に承継され、UURの実質スポンサーは丸紅と第一生命HDの2社となる予定。
