3292 AEON REIT Investment Corporation

A commercial facility focused J-REIT. Its investment policy allows for investment in certain logistics facilities. Investment amount per unit at the time of incorporation was 100,000 JPY (about five times that of other J-REITs). Its sponsor doubles as its main tenant. Plans to acquire an 18% stake in an entire commercial facility located in Malaysia for 700 million JPY; if the deal is completed, this would mark the first-ever overseas investment by a J-REIT. The forecast dividend for the period ending January 2014 is only 322 JPY per unit, because it is the first settlement after its listing and an irregular reporting period, but that for the period ending July 2014, a normal six-month reporting period, is 2,400 JPY.
