ビ・ライフ投資法人（BLI）が第9期（平成22年8月期）決算を発表した。第9期運用期間は平成21年12月～平成22年8月までの9ヶ月間。ニューシティ・レジデンス投資法人（NCR）と4月1日に合併し、レジデンス105棟を承継した。また合併後に2棟取得、4棟売却を行った。これに伴い経常利益ベースで前期比321%増益、合併に伴う負ののれん19,009百万円を計上し当期利益は20,918百万円。なお、NCRの税務上の欠損金を承継しているため、繰越控除により内部留保が可能となり、BLIは分配金額を合理的に決定することができる。第9期は、物件売却益及び再生債務の買入消却益87百万円を内部留保し、分配原資は1,821百万円、1口当たり分配金は15,341円となった。併せてレジデンス3棟（取得額計108億円）を取得することを発表。これに伴い第10期（平成23年2月期：運用期間は6ヶ月間）は、既に発表している2棟売却と併せ、従来予想比61%増益を見込むが、物件売却益等1,061百万円を内部留保するため、1口当たり分配金は14,500円と従来予想に変動はなし。
