ビ・ライフ投資法人が第9期（平成22年8月期）中間決算（平成21年12月～平成22年5月）を発表した。第9期は、4月1日にニューシティ・レジデンス投資法人（NCR）と合併し、NCRの保有物件105棟を承継。合併に伴う負ののれん190億円計上により半期利益は199億円となった。併せてNCRから引き継いだレジデンスのうち1棟売却、再生債務の一部買入消却を発表。既に発表している2棟取得及び3棟売却と併せ、従来予想比0.3%増収、合併に伴う負ののれん190億円を計上し、第9期通期業績予想を修正。なお、NCRから税務上の欠損金480億円を承継しているため、繰越控除により内部留保が可能となった。第9期は物件売却益と再生債務の買入消却益計83百万円のうち54百万円を内部留保し、1口当たり分配金は15,000円となる見通し。併せて第10期（平成23年2月期）業績予想を発表。第10期運用期間は通常の6ヶ月間。内部留保は予定せず、1口当たり分配金は14,500円となる見通し。
