MIDリート投資法人のスポンサーの主要株主が関西電力へ

MIDリート投資法人の資産運用会社の100％株主であるMID都市開発株式会社の主要株主が異動となることが公表された。米国系ファンド会社のエートスが保有するMID都市開発の株式持分を関西電力に売却し、関西電力は79.82％を保有する筆頭株主と12月初旬になる予定。これに伴いMIDリート投資法人のスポンサーは関西電力に変更となる。 関西電力は、MID都市開発が前身の松下興産であった時期より蓄積した不動産開発や施設管理実績に注目し株式取得を行ったとしている。具体的には、省CO2技術の供給拠点の構築・確保、更にグループ会社のサービスを組み合わせグループ収益拡大を意図している。
