日本賃貸住宅投資法人（JRH）の実質的なスポンサーである外資系投資ファンドのオークツリーが、保有するJRHの資産運用会社の株式約68.1％を大和証券グループ本社へ売却する。大和証券グループは、2014年11月に資産運用会社の株式30％を取得するとともに、一定の条件の元でオークツリーが保有する株式を追加取得する権利を有していた。これを行使することで、大和証券グループは資産運用会社の株式約98.1％を保有し、JRHの主要スポンサーになる。大和証券グループは、既に2つの上場REIT（大和証券オフィス投資法人、日本ヘルスケア投資法人）、更に私募REITである大和証券レジデンシャル・プライベート投資法人のスポンサーであるが、これら3投資法人とは独立して運用し、現時点で資産運用会社の合併はない見込み。
