クリード・オフィス投資法人（COI）の資産運用会社であるクリード・リート・アドバイザーズ（CRA）が証券取引等監視委員会より行政処分勧告を受けた。処分に至る内容は、COIが平成18年3月上場時に取得した2棟において、アスベストを使用している物件1棟の取得に関する対応を怠ったこと、また増改築工事中の物件1棟の賃料未収入分を考慮せず、COIに物件を取得させたことによる。 これに伴い、CRAは以下の対応策を発表した。 物件取得に関しては、鑑定会社を見直し大手3社に限定。また鑑定書について第三者機関によるレポートを取得し、チェック体制を確立。 アスベストに関しては、06年にアスベスト管理手順を制定、08年にアスベスト調査完了。またコンプライアンス体制を整備。
