アドバンス・レジデンス投資法人（ADR）と日本レジデンシャル投資法人（NRIC）が合併契約を締結した。合併日は2010年3月1日。合併方式は当初吸収合併を予定していたが、新設合併に変更。これによりADR及びNRICは解散となり、2010年2月24日に上場廃止となる予定。 新設合併に伴い、ADRの投資口1口に対し3口、NRICの投資口1口に対し2口を割当交付する。従って端数投資主は発生しない。またADR及びNRICともに最終営業期間における分配として合併交付金を支払う予定。 併せて、それぞれの資産運用会社であるADインベストメント・マネジメント（ADIM）及びパシフィックレジデンシャル（PRS）が合併契約を締結。資産運用会社の合併は吸収合併となり、ADIMが存続、PRSが解散となる。
