アドバンス・レジデンス投資法人（ADR）と日本レジデンシャル投資法人（NRIC）が合併に関する基本合意書を締結したことを発表。NRICの新スポンサー選定に対し、ADRのスポンサーである伊藤忠商事が入札し、新スポンサーに内定。ADRがNRICを吸収合併することで、資産規模3,900億円、レジデンスセクターで最大の投資法人となる。算定根拠としている諸条件に影響を及ぼす重大な事実などがない場合、合併比率はADR：NRIC＝1：0.66としている。現状では合併により端数投資主が発生するが、この点を回避する方策を検討中。また、資産運用会社も合併の基本合意書を締結。 なお、合併契約は9月の予定だが、合併日や合併後の業績、投資法人名称などは未定であり、決定次第公表するものとしている
