福岡リート投資法人（FRC）が、星野リゾート・リート投資法人と、スポンサーである福岡地所との3者間で物件売買を行う。 FRCが取得する物件は、福岡・天神に福岡地所が現在開発中の「天神西通りビジネスセンター」の底地。 FRCが売却する物件は、キャナルシティ博多の一区画であるホテル「グランドハイアット福岡」。売却先は星野リゾート・リート投資法人（HRR）。 併せて、FRCとHRRの各々スポンサーである福岡地所と星野リゾートグループが、協業に関する基本協定書を締結。福岡だけでなく、九州及びアセアン諸国を視野に入れたパートナーシップの機会を模索する。 第一弾として、グランドハイアット福岡をHRRが保有し、キャナルシティ博多の運営に星野リゾートグループが参画することで、キャナルシティ博多全体の更なる活性化を図る。 一方、HRRは、博多駅前にある「ANAクラウンプラザホテル福岡」を福岡地所に売却する。3物件とも取引額は77億円、取引実行日は6月1日。
