フロンティア不動産投資法人（FRI）が投資口の追加発行を行う。FRIの公募増資は04年上場以降初めて。発行口数は35,000口、オーバーアロットメントによる売出口数2,500口。これにより発行後の総投資口数は28%増の160,000口となる。併せて、商業施設4棟を取得する。4棟の取得額は計333.6億円。売り主はスポンサーである三井不動産又は同社が設立するSPC。これに伴い、第9期（平成20年12月期）業績予想を発表。上記4棟取得により前期予想比28%増益、投資口が28%増加するも、1口当たり分配金は17,900円と前期と同額となる見通し。
