日本レジデンシャル投資法人及び日本コマーシャル投資法人の主要スポンサーであるパシフィックホールディングス（PHI）が会社更生手続を申請した。これに対する両投資法人の経営状況に直接的な影響はなく、上場は維持される。またPHIの破綻が両投資法人の財務制限条項に抵触するものではないため直接金融機関との関係を悪化させるものではない。但し、資産運用会社を介してPHIとサポート契約を締結しているため、不動産の情報等のサポートを受けられない可能性、また今後金融機関からの資金調達に間接的な影響を受ける懸念がある。 両投資法人ともに、PHIの保全管理人の協力及び取引先金融機関との協議を行いながら新スポンサーの選定を進めていく予定。
