日本プライムリアルティ投資法人が第14期（平成20年12月期）決算を発表した。第14期は4棟取得（うち1棟は追加取得）、1棟売却を行った。賃貸収益が増加する一方、営業外収益の減少及び支払利息の増加等により前期比0.4%減益、1口当たり分配金は7,092円となった。併せて、大阪市北浜地区の複合施設（取得予定は低層階の商業施設のみ）の取得中止を発表した。当該物件は、平成19年3月に取得契約を締結し、平成21年3月竣工と同時に引き渡しを予定していた。しかし昨今の環境変化により契約時の想定収益と大幅に乖離し、鑑定価格が大きく変わること、また資金調達環境等を鑑みて、取得を中止することとした。この取得中止に伴い違約金及び仲介手数料22億円が発生する。これにより第15期（平成21年6月期）業績予想は違約金による特別損失を計上し、前期比53%減益、1口当たり分配金は3,300円となる見通し。
