ジャパンリアルエステイト投資法人（JRE）が、スポンサーである三菱地所と物件交換を行う。 JREが取得する新宿イーストサイドスクエアは、地下鉄東新宿駅より直結、平成24年竣工、20階建。既に共有持分14％を保有しており、今回は持分3.6％を追加取得する。取得額は66.6億円。 一方、売却する物件は、千代田区飯田橋にあるオフィスビル。築31年が経過し、将来的な修繕コストが課題であった。売却額は68.9億円。 これらの交換取引に圧縮記帳を行い、売却益のうち約20億円を取得物件の取得価格から控除することによって、取得価格66.6億円に対し簿価が約46億円となる予定。 これに伴い第31期（平成29年3月期）に売却益約34百万円計上するが、業績予想の修正はなし。
