ザイマックス・リート投資法人のスポンサーに、名鉄都市開発が参画する。 資産運用会社であるザイマックス不動産投資顧問が、10月1日、本投資法人の資産運用業務をザイマックスアセットマネジメントへ承継し、併せてザイマックスアセットマネジメントの株式51％を名鉄都市開発が取得することを発表した。これに伴いザイマックスアセットマネジメントは名鉄・ザイマックスアセットマネジメントへ名称変更し、本投資法人はダブルスポンサー体制となる。 名鉄グループは、中期経営計画にて不動産回転型ビジネスへ本格的参入を表明している。上場REITへ参画することで、保有する不動産をREITへ売却し、売却資金を元に中部圏にて再開発を進めていく構え。 なお、ダブルスポンサー体制に伴い、本投資法人が中部圏の不動産を取得することを想定し、将来的に投資法人の名称を「セントラル・リート投資法人（仮称）」へ変更する予定。
