投資法人みらいと、さくら総合リート投資法人が、合併の基本合意を締結した。 投資法人みらいが存続投資法人となり、合併が成立すればさくら総合リート投資法人は上場廃止となる。資産運用会社は引き続き三井物産・イデラパートナーズが担当する。さくら総合リート投資法人の資産運用会社であるさくら不動産投資顧問、スポンサーであるガリレオグループは合併後の運用に参画しない。 合併が成立すれば、東京圏のオフィスを中心とした資産規模2,007億円（現時点の単純合計）の総合型REITとなる。合併による効果として、運営効率向上に伴うコスト削減、1口当たり分配金の向上、時価総額及び流動性の向上、規模拡大に伴うリスク分散等を掲げる。 今後8月6日までに合併契約を締結するとともに、合併比率や合併後の運用方針等詳細を決定する。 8月30日にさくら総合リート投資法人が主催する投資主総会にて3分の2以上の賛成を得られれば、11月1日に合併、さくら総合リート投資法人は10月30日に上場廃止となる予定。
