スターアジア不動産投資法人（SAI）とさくら総合リート投資法人（SSR）が合併を目的とした基本合意を締結した。 SSRは、2月末にさくら不動産投資問との資産運用委託契約を解約し、3月よりスターアジア投資顧問と契約する予定で、これによりSSRはスターアジアグループの傘下となる。 これに先立ち、両投資法人の合併を目的とし、スターアジアグループとSSRの監督役員及び第三者から構成される特別委員会を設置。今後合併契約に向けた交渉、デューデリジェンスを進めていく予定。合併後の存続投資法人はSAIとなる予定だが、合併時期及び合併比率等は未定。
