イオンリート投資法人が、第7期（平成28年7月期）決算を発表した。 第7期は、投資口の追加発行を行い「イオンモール大和郡山」等、国内の商業施設5棟とマレーシアのSPCの株式を取得。これにより前期比16.2％増収となるも、熊本地震による「イオンモール熊本」の被害に伴い、復旧費用として特別損失5,245百万円を計上、当期純損失1,627百万円となった。無配を回避するため、無償減資を行うことによって、一時的に利益超過分配を行い、1口当たり利益超過分配金は1,450円となった。 期末のポートフォリオは28物件、資産規模（取得額合計）は2,492億円、有利子負債比率は38.9％。 第8期（平成29年1月期）は、「イオンモール苫小牧」「イオンモール小山」を取得。また9月にマレーシアのSPCの株式を追加取得する予定。これによる賃貸収益の増加を見込み、経常利益ベースで前期比8％増益を見込み、1口当たり分配金は2,980円となる見通し。 第9期（平成29年7月期）は、前期予想比2.2％増収を見込むが、固都税や修繕費の増加により9.1％減益、1口当たり分配金は2,710円となる見通し。 なお、地震リスクの対応として、個別物件のPML値が15％超の場合地震保険を検討する予定。
