イオンリート投資法人が、熊本地震による「イオンモール熊本」の建物損傷の影響を受け、3月に公表した第7期（平成28年7月期）及び第8期（平成29年1月期）業績予想を未定に変更した。震源地に近い「イオンモール熊本」は核店舗の1階部分を除き、現在も営業を休止している。4棟のうち2棟は7月に営業再開予定たが、液状化による基礎沈下等の損傷を受けた残り2棟は、テナントであるイオンモール(株)とともに、建替えを含めたリニューアルを検討する。これに伴い、修繕費及び資本的支出計上により、第7期は当期純損失となる可能性を発表。但し、現段階で損失の算定が困難なため、業績予想を未定とし、7月中旬に改めて公表する。なお、第8期も繰越損失が発生する可能性があるが、利益超過分配を行う見込み。
