イオンリート投資法人が、マレーシアのSPCの株式を取得する。株式の取得額は67億円。イオンリート投資法人は、既にマレーシアのジョホールバル市にあるイオンの信託受益権を保有しており、海外での取得は2件目となる。今回は、マレーシアのイオンを裏付資産とするSPCの全株式を段階的に取得する。SPCが取得する資産は、マレー半島南西部の州都であるスレンバン市に、平成17年に開業した店舗。SPCはイオンマレーシア社と賃料固定（但し、3年毎にマレーシアの消費者物価指数に合せて調整）のマスターリース契約（10年間）を締結する。税引後の投資利回りは4.2％を想定。イオンリート投資法人が受け取る配当金は、第8期（平成29年1月期）より計上される。SPCの株式取得及び配当金の受取りについて、先物為替予約取引等による為替ヘッジを検討する予定。
