イオンリート投資法人 がマレーシアの商業施設を取得する。J-REITにおける海外不動産の取得は初めてとなる。スポンサーであるイオンは、マレーシア国内に総合スーパー（GMS）を26店舗運営する実績を持つ。イオンリート投資法人は、アセアン地域や中国等経済発展が見込める地域を対象に、海外不動産をポートフォリオ全体の15％以下で組み入れる方針とする。取得する物件は、マレーシアのジョホールバルにある、イオンのショッピングセンター。信託受益権の共有持分に類する権利（全体の約18％）を取得する。上場時に売買契約を締結済であり、今回契約を行使して取得に至った。 投資割合はポートフォリオ全体の0.4％であるため、業績予想は変更なし。
