星野リゾート・リート投資法人が、ハイアットリージェンシー大阪を取得する。 物件は、南港ポートタウン線中ふ頭駅より徒歩3分に位置する、平成6年竣工、28階建のホテル。客室数は480室。取得額は160億円。運営会社であるGCP Hospitality Japan株式会社と20年間の定期賃貸借契約（変動賃料）を締結する。併せて、スポンサーである星野リゾートが運営会社の全株式を取得する。 これに伴い、第8期（平成29年4月期）業績予想を修正。上記物件取得により資産規模（取得額合計）は17％増の1,092億円となる。6月に公表した業績予想に対し1.8％増益を見込み、1口当たり分配金11,582円となる見通し。期末の有利子負債比率は34.9％を見込む。
